Stellar Blade Cat Locations: Finding Every Kitty Graffiti in Xion

Stellar Blade Cat Locations: Finding Every Kitty Graffiti in Xion

You’ve spent hours slashing through Naytibas and parrying like a god, but now you’re stuck looking for... cat drawings? Honestly, it’s a bit of a tonal shift. But hey, Shift Up knows exactly what we want, and that's usually more outfits for Eve. If you’re hunting down the Stellar Blade cat locations to finish the "Cat Photo Exhibition" request, you aren't actually looking for real, meowing cats.

People get this wrong all the time.

The quest specifically asks you to find 10 pieces of cat graffiti scattered around the city of Xion. It’s part of the Photo Mode update that dropped back in late 2024. If you manage to snap a selfie with all ten, you unlock the Neurolink Skin, which is easily one of the sleekest nano suits in the game. It’s got that futuristic, tech-heavy vibe that looks great in the Wasteland's lighting.

Getting Started with the Photo Challenge

Before you go sprinting through the alleys of Xion, make sure you’ve actually picked up the quest. You need to grab it from the Bulletin Board in Xion. If it’s not there, you probably haven't unlocked Photo Mode yet. You get the camera by completing a short tutorial mission in Xion—just follow the main story until the game basically forces the camera into your hands.

Once you have the quest, check your Data Bank. There’s a specific "Photo Challenge" tab that gives you vague image hints. Some are easy. Others? Well, they’re tucked away in spots you’d never look at twice.

Every Stellar Blade Cat Location in Xion

Let's get into the actual locations. I’m going to break these down by general landmarks so you don't have to keep staring at your mini-map every five seconds.

The Easy Ones Near the Center

First up is the Pure Cat. This one is basically a freebie. Head toward Lyle’s bookstore (the place where you spend all those hard-earned vitcoins). If you stand with your back to his shop and look toward the stairs leading down, the cat is right there on the wall to your right.

Next, hit up the Cute Cat. This one is inside the tunnel just north of the Bulletin Board. It’s the same tunnel where you get ambushed early in the game. Don't look at the walls—look up. It’s painted on a yellow overhead pipe.

Then there's the Joyful Cat. Go toward Sister’s Junk. Instead of going down to the shop, stay on the upper walkway. Look for an electrical box on the wall facing east. The cat is sitting right on top of it, looking smug.

The Hidden Alley Cats

The Precious Cat is tucked away near Gwen’s Hair Salon. If you face the salon, there’s an alleyway to the left (east). Walk down it and keep your eyes on the right-hand wall. It’s a bit dark back there, so you might need to adjust your brightness if you’re playing on a "vibrant" setting.

For the Rare Cat, head over to "The Last Gulp," which is the bar run by Enya and Su. As you walk down the stairs into the bar's entrance, look at the wall on your right. It’s right there before you hit the bottom.

Exploring the Outskirts

The Vibrant Cat is a pain. It’s located near the stairs that lead toward the Great Desert elevator. As you go down the first flight of red stairs, stop. Look at the wall covered in ivy. The cat is partially obscured by the leaves, making it one of the most missed ones in the whole set.

If you’re heading toward the Wasteland, you’ll find the Mysterious Cat. It’s inside the cave entrance that leads out of Xion. As you’re facing toward the Wasteland exit, it’s on the left-hand wall.

The Platforming Required Cats

The Graceful Cat actually requires a little bit of movement. Head toward the Tetrapod (Adam’s ship). There’s a bridge nearby with a rope you can slide down. Once you're at the bottom, follow the path to the lower platform near a shipping crate. Look at the cliff wall near the climbing holds.

The Flamboyant Cat is near Barry’s Fish Market. You don't need to go up to Barry, though. Stay at the ground level beneath his shop. There are tires hanging on the wall. Look inside the tire on the far right. It’s a clever hiding spot.

Finally, the Dreaming Cat. This one is right at your home base. Go to where Lily hangs out at her workbench. Behind the white vending machine (the one that looks like a refrigerator), you’ll find the final kitty graffiti.

Basically, most players want every costume. But the Neurolink Skin is special because it’s one of the few "reward" skins that feels like it actually belongs in the late-game lore. It has a high-poly count and some nice glowing accents.

One thing to keep in mind: you must use the "Selfie" mode in the photo settings for these to count. If you just take a standard environment shot, the quest won't progress. Eve needs to be in the frame. It's a bit of a "tourist" moment for a soldier-turned-savior, but hey, that's Stellar Blade for you.

Quick Checklist for the 10 Cats

  • Pure Cat: Near Lyle's Bookstore, bottom of the stairs.
  • Cute Cat: Northern tunnel on an overhead yellow pipe.
  • Joyful Cat: Electrical box near Sister's Junk (upper level).
  • Precious Cat: Alleyway next to Gwen's Hair Salon.
  • Rare Cat: Entrance stairs to The Last Gulp bar.
  • Vibrant Cat: Ivy-covered wall near the Great Desert elevator.
  • Mysterious Cat: Entrance cave to the Wasteland.
  • Graceful Cat: Cliff ledge under the bridge near the Tetrapod.
  • Flamboyant Cat: Inside a tire under Barry’s Fish Market.
  • Dreaming Cat: Behind the vending machine at the Xion safehouse.

Once you’ve snapped all ten, head back to the Bulletin Board. You’ll get a notification that the "Cat Photo Exhibition" request is complete. Turn it in, and the Neurolink Skin is yours.

If you're going for the Platinum trophy or just want to see everything Xion has to offer, this is one of the more relaxing quests. No boss fights, no ticking timers—just a scavenger hunt through one of the most detailed hub worlds in recent years. After you grab this, you might want to check the board again; usually, once you finish the cats, the "Butterfly" photo quest in the Wasteland becomes a lot more tempting.
