sorry for desktop pic, but the website this was on has since died. This is Jim Sachs, a master of the trade, NOT demoscene man, completely uninformed of AA techniques, his own dither style and he still rules the lot. He did art for A500 version of Defender of the Crown and the like. He is one of my personal favourites, and I would love to interview him one day.

for more.

Yeah I remember some of his work in magazines like the one you have on your desktop and the one on the site with the Amiga keys against the motherboard thing with the big ball.

Helm/Ptoing: Oh, shit ... thats right. : \ I forgot about the rotoscope deal. I pretty much died the day I found that out. That sucks.

I was only refering to the shadow creatures in Heart of Darkness, though. I loved those things.

Oh, one more: Cave Story. I shouldn't have to link any screenshots to that one. :)

Can you post some screenshots to the Batman game? I want to see if it is truly as great as you all say it is. :P
Look for your friends, but do not trust a hope. It is forsaken these lands....

anything by st0ven or monsoon2d. Wolverine has some amazing pieces too, like comic book style pixel art.
And I am finally seeing that you were the one worth eating.

Camus, that's from the first level of Earthworm Jim 1(SNES, maybe Genesis, too).

I really like these two pieces by Alex Handon-White
http://finalredemption.com/media/pixel/pixelpiece35.htm This one of the guy rescuing the girl from Hell(Don't know what the actual subject is, but I'm always thinking of some greek myth where a guy is rescuing a girl from Hades when I look at this)

http://finalredemption.com/media/pixel/pixelpiece36.htm And this here is one of my favourite pixel trees.

I love the shading on the bells in that batman pic with joker. The palette swap on the left bell was pulled off spectacularly
