There been talks along this line when the first one was started. It's more exciting to wait until the very end :D

Actually, I agree with Morganne; it provides more of an incentive for members to finish/take up tiles - in order to see the previous tile someone will need to do the next one (or three). This would mean people have less reason to sit on a tile for a few days.

I don't think sitting on a tile for a day or two should be that big a deal, I finished a bulk of both of mine in one day but decided to wait until the next day anyways, to catch flaws and touch it up with a fresh eye. The progressive revelation sounds interesting, but either way, the wait to see everything is what makes it really interesting, I think.

anyway ptoing, thanks for the replies. I'd like to do some more tiles but I just don't think I'll have the time this week so I'm looking forward to seeing what you guys come up with!

I don't think that whether tiles will be revealed when they have no free adjacent tiles will speed things up or motivate people to work faster.
Anyway, I am having an idea for a hexquisite corpse which will very much warrant partial revelation every now and then, but that will be something for the (hopefully near) future.

Purple tiles signify that they are within (or close to) their last 24 hours. In some cases I will be flexible here, which will be handled via PM.

Therefore these tiles may become open again (if the artist who nabbed it doesn't finish within a reasonable time period.)

Just letting everyone know I'm working on my tile. I got started kind of late, so I'll be cutting it close to my deadline  :blind:

There's a few tiles up I'm dying' to see revealed already.

No, I strongly disagree revealing them as we go is good. Doing that destroys the impact of the final revealing moment of truth. Morganne, just wait for it, wait for it . . .
