[noob] Quake III Arena in pixels

on: September 04, 2009, 10:05:55 am
Hi everyone !

I'm new here and new to pixel art. Here is my first attemp to create an animated sprite. I used Uriel, from Quake III Arena, as a refernce for character design and kinda SD-ed him.
I'm quite proud of the standing but I think the running could be better, but hey... it's my first one !  ;D

Whaddya think ?

MKBJ.

[edit] please see it in Firefox or another browser, as IE stupidly slows down the animation  :mean:

Haha, cool, you even did some "Motion Blurr" on the Legs of the running One. Very good  ;D .

I don't think, that you are a Noob  ;) .

Greetings,
Ingo

Thanks Ingo   :)
Some friends and I have made the crazy project of creating an oldschool platformer. I guess I'll post some more tests soon.
