82 views and not a single comment?

looks like this is the wrong community to be in...

firstly, read the rules and don't double post.

secondly, 82 views isn't much for a community as large as this.  Many people lurk here.  Often a thread may get between 100-200 views before receiving a reply, so be patient.  Unlike many other communities, the responses here are purely constructive and well-thought rather than a bunch of one-liner nonsense as quickly as someone makes a topic.

I don't have the time to post critique at this time, but I will later.

Well This community along with most pixel art communitys are mostly guests looking at other work trying to get better so of those 82 views only about 20 were members and not every member has anything to say about your work.

I think it need more shading pick a light souce (usally from the top left/right) and think how your peice would look if the light soucre was were you picked it to be.
I also think the wing could use some more detail

how quickly a community one has provided nothing to owes one something!

The thick outline gives it a jaggy look. Also try to avoid using anti-aliasing on 45 degree angles. I agree with the idea of following a light source to add shadows and highlights so that the image does not look too flat.

Oh ok didnt want to upset anybody nor bump my post I guess I was a little suprised ..

thanks for taking some time to write about my work.

I suck badly at drawing because of that I decided to leave things without shading at least on the characters but maybe someone could give me a tip or two on how should I approach this..

here is my latest version

-Edited-repost image because xs.to is unreliable this days..images keeps disappearing :P

I noticed your lineart  is a bit broken. There is a certain count that you have to follow to make them smoother.
http://opengameart.org/content/chapter-2-lines-and-curves. Then add a little anti alias..
Finally added a simple shadow below the body to give a volume.

What I did here is pretty basic, and I'm probably not the best guy to give some crits at the moment. Just wait for awhile until the vets comes here :p

You better check some of this threads to get some tips and tricks

Sorry if this looks rushed.  I'm in class at the time but I really liked the idea of this.  Here's an edit that may help you out.  I cleaned up the lines and rounded out some edges.  I didn't get to the legs because of my situation but i would be glad to finish that when i get home.  did some things for the cuteness you were asking about, but it's totally subjective: moved the eyes closer together and rounded out the nose.  Froli's edit is a great example of another way to do this as well.

Things tend to look cuter with bigger eyes and more shines. Also upturning the line separating the halves of the beak to make it look a bit more smiley could help.
You've done well making it look fluffier, but even fluffier might work.

Why, in the front view do you have sticky-upy feathers that are then missing in the side view? I think they add character to the little guy, I think you should keep them~

Well the hair is just concept, actually there are going to be many hairpieces that the player will be able to choose (as well as sunglasses beards and hats)
