[WIP] The girl has a red skirt but no hair yet

on: August 13, 2009, 05:56:07 pm
So, I started making this:

Looks not bad to me for now, except for some slight flaws.
So, I am not only planning to finish this but also planning on earning some experience.  :-*
Also, I'm still experimenting with the head shape I'd appreciate some help on that too.

Made the foot flat so it sits level.
Also I thought that the folds in the skirt go up a little high. Specially the one on the left.
You also have two oranges that are very similar in color those could be combined into one.
The face is roundish, kinda shaped it a little.
I just made a random bit of hair but I hope it gives you and idea.

Man that's a really good edit, thanks for the help :o~
I'll post an edit when I'm done. I am very busy right now, it may take some time, but I just wanted to thank you for your help :]
Edit:
I tried a bit:

I don't know how to make the hair more curly and "bigger" :/

OOOooooHHHHhhh!  :o
That's really good, really really good :)
I'll try to make some changes (minor changes for the hair) if I get the time and post them.
Thanks man, you guys are being a big help :D
Edit:
Hmmm I don't know about those highlights on the hair, should I remove them?
In the game the sprite will be x2, in x1 the highlights of the hair look okay but in x2 there is too much contrast :0

I'll be pretty busy for the next 6-7 weeks but I'll work at it again this weekend ;]
