Illuminate the ship as it fires the phaz0rs of death.
Nice detail, though the animation lacks something.... I can't put my finger on it though. =/

Make the guns recoil a bit. The blast should come faster than it goes, but right now it's the other way around.
The ship itself is cool, but you might wanna shorten the guns; they look like antannae. Unless you're going for that slow, powerful look, it could also be a bit longer/more areodynamic.

Changing the lighting of the ship as it fires would be a good idea, too.

What's illumination or how do you illuminate it?

Illuminate - light: make lighter or brighter

By which he means that the light from the lasers should reach the body of the ship and give it a flash of color.

Nice work on the ship, not sure about the animation though.
First of, the blast looks very odd. Flash lighting and recoiling
guns would indeed freshen it up.
Also, I would change the form of the blast.
Try to make it go forward. Make it look like it wants
to follow the bullet.

Good luck.

The ship is well done, but like others have mentioned, the firing needs work. Once you add an illumination and make the guns move while firing, the animation will look alot better. Also the blasts seem dimmer than the ship itself, it looks kinda weird hehe.
