[WIP] Where the Wild Things Are Progress

on: August 02, 2009, 08:44:06 pm
Hi there- I'm in the process of pixelling a scene from the children's book "Where the Wild Things Are" - started it as a collab suggestion on Pixeljoint and thought I'd start my soujourn here with the progress pieces I've made so far.  Hope you like, I love the story as a child and can't wait to see the movie that's due for release soon.
REFERENCE PIECE:

PROGRESS SO FAR (today's work-2nd of Aug)

Please use .PNG or .GIF format for saving/uploading your images, as JPEG severely reduces image quality.

It appears you chibi-fied these creatures, scaling them down but not the boy sitting on top of the right one. Was this intentional?

Pandora... have you tried using Photobucket? it's an easy way to upload images and it doesn't change the file type to .jpg unless you're uploading a .bmp
