Took around 5 mins, or maybe 6 mins. Done in MS Paint.

Heh, that's pretty rad. Well done.

I would say that you should rotate it to a horizontal view and tun it into a banner. Put soething like "Andy Tran" in there, or the name of a website or soemthing.
Look for your friends, but do not trust a hope. It is forsaken these lands....

Thanks. That's a really good idea on the banner thing. I should do that. The thing is I am not that good at pixeling logos.

Are you restricted by a color palette?

I will put for example 2 more colors for aa, sel-out etc.. And try to make iluminations, and proof a little of dither. And no make all with a color "green/turkish" if bright-green/darken blue transition, i think the effect can be more metalized.

With you permis a Edit :)

Nah, not really color restriction. You can create as many colors as you want with paint. Paint and Gale are very ideal for pixel art. I would recommend paint and gale.

That's a great edit Matriax! And I think the man is right with his edit shown, you have much space for 'fine pixelling' the piece. It looks a bit plain, ordinary. Touching bits and pieces up like Matriax did, you definitely get a better result.

I'm sure you'll learn a lot about pixel skills by examining the edit and try to finish the rest.

Yeah, I've learned a lot about pixel art from the crits. Thanks Matriax and everyone for helping me out. Ah ha, you can use dithering if you're limited on color palette. Heh, haven't dithered in a long time.

Edit: BTW, are those light blue dots on the edit are rivets?

Yeah... I think.
Also, the occasional dent adds a bit of personality, you know? ;D

About the dithering im not a fan, i always evite the dithering on my works. The dithering not is bad, view the works of henk neiborg for example "harry potter" for gba, have a lot of dithering and the quality is awesome  :o

I previus say to add more colors to make a texture metalized, with the actuals colors are more dificult by this i use dithering. For erase the dithering i think you have 2 options. Or add more colors for make a texture or make more details.

Heh, here's the new result. Thanks for all for the comments and crits. Did it yesterday and was pretty bored to make a post here.
