Silicon

Silicon is a rayman-like robot, who wants to take over the world,
So just think Hitler and rayman put together ;D. This may or may not become a game.

(edit)

An enemy:

Mmm, I like this one. Mini-stylishness.
The animation is as smooth as your mom. Mmm...
...
Sorry about that. >_>.

Anyways. The running looks like tiny hops sometimes. Perhaps you can modify the upper body so it goes forward, and then lags a bit, so to create the illusion that while running, the guy is speeding up when pushing with his leg, and slows a bit as he lands.
Other than that, muy muy sexy.

Is the skip of your running animation intentional? I'm not 100% sure, but if you're interested I made an edit to remove the skip in your running animation.

I really love what you have so far. The shooting animations are very nice. You've made great use of your pixels to make the most of your animations.

I think DrDerekDoctors made this point in TinyGiants shmup mockup thread, that it's confusing to the player to give an enemy the same colours as the player. I think this is a pretty good rule when testing out the colour schemes of enemies.

@crab2selout.png: Yes, it was intentional but I DID learn something from your edit, and the colors on the enemy were going to be temporary but
I never changed them... heh.

Thanks everybody for the cnc

Updates:
darkened the place up abit, added some more tiles

added some more tiles

lessened the skip

changed it's colors

I think by "changing it's colours" it is given that the colours would have more variation. At the moment they still look the same colour.

Heh, that is pretty cool. A bit too small for my liking, but the mockup looks great. Nice work.

The animations are great.
The sprites are blending with the background a bit, you could make it lighter.

awesome, the new colors definitely work <3

my only crit is on the background...the tops of the platforms are dark, and the bottoms are light...it strikes me as counter-intuitive lighting...
other than that, can't wait to see how this game progresses, very slick

I liked the green spider better. Its just standing out too much right now, for me.

I hope this really becomes a game, its looking hot.

Tiny *clear* pixel art = awesome, fantastic work here. Couple of thoughts: maybe add a light (bulb) in the background, perhaps add an AA tone of the laser beam.

@reydragk: Thanks, and the reason its like that, is because that way they look better stacked on top of each other, but maybe I should
make some better hagy-downy wall tiles.

@Darion: Yes, it is saturated a lot right now, I hope that i'll be able to make it a decent game.

@Dhaos: Well, tiny pixel are is all I can do heh, um... theres already a light on 2nd and 3rd updates.

Updates:
added AA and fixed up the light

added AA

hey, if you're at all interested in letting other people work on this with you, I'd love to try doing some enemies or something for it...

it's a challenge to fit detail into such a small piece, you've done it quite well so far, kudos
