Hi,
For my first post, I show a test that I begin on PsX2 and
I have tested Hallibell of Bleach:

(hm insert image mode don't work? :o)

My images are not really good, I know.
I accept any comments that might help me better myself as a Pixelart.

Posting the picture for you.

I lacks a ligthsource and contrast. And it's very hard to read, what are those things on the chest? Arms or tits?
Can make an edit tomorrow.

Sorry to lack constructive criticism, but it truly looks as if you just put tits on someone else's man sprite.  Can anyone explain that?  Chest is very confusing.

I used this image as a model:

I was not sure how to do chest, I try several times but I can not do something to 'correct'.
I do not know if my way is good, but I always try to make the 1st black lines for the contours (clothing, arms, etc.),
then I apply a dark color for each part and I finished putting bright colors to set the shadows.

Doesn't work for anyone else.
Try uploading things to imageshack.us or even photobucket.com

The .png you linked us to is replaced with a flashing green and white image that says lapunk.hu

The ugly truth here, is that you need to worry about basic pixelling methods and not characters. I know you like chars, and chars are fun. But you used 88 colors just to shade his/her(?) left leg, alone. I used photoshop to count. It's basically NPR at this point - NON PIXEL ART. I know this was unintentional, but it underlines the necessity of starting with the basics. OVERLOAD OF INFORMATION.

I will try with another software (GraphicsGale maybe), while following the tutorials for the basics of starting Pixelart because I read nothing about the basics.

No xD.

Listen to Mathias.  And don't use the above form to pixel.  DON'T use outlines, plot out your basic shading in grayscale or something then recolor and rework.  At this size outlines are too big and clutter everything up, and are noisy.
