3/4 view someone?

on: April 27, 2009, 10:42:42 pm
Hey.. I have trubble with 3/4 view, its the first time in doing it.. and I am not sure what angle is it in when you are drawing a house for example,
could someone draw a correct 3/4 view line for me (for example one side of the house)?

Here is 4 examples, first is isometric, and the last one is 45 degree one..

Now I wonder which one would be most propriet for this angle, maybe exact in middle between iso and 45?

Please someone?

Thanks :)

Ok.. 190 views and nobody knows I gues?.. I really need help to do this soon :(

EDIT: nvm, I figured out that 2 middle ones would be just to hard to use, so Ill either stick to top or the bottom line. Thanx anyway.

You may find this forum thread helpful - projection in videogames - as it links to Layman's Guide to Projection in Video Games.

Non-isometric 3/4 I find a little confusing to determine the proper angle for, and I wouldn't mind reading someone's input on that either.

I vote for the 2 over, 1 down typical ISO angle; top line. Nice desert warrior guy.

I agree with Matthias.

Whatever you use though, keep is consistent.  Right now he's in a more natural perspective where his shoulders are more flat to the viewer than his feet.  this will seldom look good in a game without other instances of perspective.

The same mistake three or more times is a motif.
