My Work Thus Far

I have only been spriting for a couple days now, so bear with me, kind sirs. Both were made with HK's excellent template base.

Here is my first sprite:

You use like 4 purple colors, but they look like one, up the contrast. Where's the light coming from? Apparently nowhere because everything is blanket/pillowshaded.

You will not learn much when using a template. By the way it's made by Showkaizer, not some HK.

I am using a template right now just to fiddle around with making clothes and doing proper shading, apparently to no good effect!  I will edit the image and correct the shading and contrast! 

Oh, and thanks for the correction!
