There's a very nice flash version of Raiden out there if you're wary of breaking laws.
But I digress. Pawidge has a point: simple explosions that look good also save CPU cycles. And you know how much people love to hoard those little suckers.

Noveroth if your using game factory then why not look at the explosions they have?  You can look at em frame by frame and zoom in.  Or did you not know they were there?

I have looked at them and I've learned that they are too big, and over detailed for my game. And i like simplicity.

So yeah, i think i'll take the advise of Simple = better-ish.

I'll post some screens when i get further in the progress, Thanks for the help guys.

Flash version has bobbins explosions.
