The bottom looks like she might be wearing a red trench coat instead of a dress. Move the slit to the side of her leg if you want it to look more dress-like.

Coldblooded? Oh well it looks great, but one thing bugs me...she is holding it awkward, I would suggest giving her left hand underhand grip and right hand overhand grip so it would look more natural otherwise the dress looks awesome.

I mostly polished stuff, and also worked a lot more on the hands and forearms.

Yeah, that's what I meant  *fixes*
The way I have the hands now is actually pretty comfortable, try it out. The reason, I think, why it looked unnatural was my sloppy pixel pushing, so hopefully the hands look better now.

Wow, after I saw your edit, tehwexxlorz, the terrible realization of her paper flatness hit me like a brick, ouch.

Dropped two colors darkening and rearranging her outfit. I really tried to get a stoic vibe going; have I succeeded?

The design is a little monotone right now... you've got her flesh-colored skin and everything else is the same purple color. I would try to work one more distinct hue in there, maybe put some trim on her clothes or some tassley-flowy-things on the weapon.
