Ajar

Yeah, it's a jar. Looks to be a bit amazed and perhaps a bit scared for his once jelly filled life.

The picture is very nice, the colors too...
But, in my opinion, the black border is very ugly !

Huh!? Whats that i've posted!? Yeah i have been away for a while due to technical faults :S STUPID ISP!!!!!! I'm back now though. Anyway! I LOVE THIS! As you know Blick i love ur line arts and i love your style! I think you could work with the back of the throat it stands out too much i think needs to be mellowed down like the rest of the colours. Very nice.

Thanks,

Dan

Yeah, I knew people were going to point that out the second I showed it =X I didn't want to add a color and I wanted to keep my black outline so I chose between either keeping the black for the line or bringing down the black to a dark red and lose the outline. I don't think I'll change it right yet due to laziness, but you are right in that it stands out too much.

My opinion: the dark outline, gives the object more focus. Besides, I'm a general proponent of black outlines in general, so you may consider that statement biased.
But I certainly like the piece. The base looks like it could use a bit of AA, do you have a middle shade available for that?

I'm not sure what you mean. If you mean AA the base to where it meets the white, it is AAed. Although I never know how well I AA, since I just eyeball it and hope it's right.

That very wacky epression, quite a nice piece. After seeing that however, I don't think I can pick up another jar again. *shudders*
