guess who's back --> The shrimp addict :D

on: March 12, 2009, 04:28:29 pm
After a long time I'm finally back to this Forum :).

I made some major improvements in drawing and a little in coloring.
I am still trying to create a "Shrimp-mascott".

Here is something i drew lately (still not very good at drawing).

The most problem I have is to mix colors and make stuff cartoonish, so I must trace the pictures to get good colors.
I could make the red portion completely red but then it wouldn't look good. Is there a possibility to keep the different "red tones"
and still keep/make it cartoonish?

This is only hurting you. Look at the slide positions on these colors that you like. You need to be able to create your own realistic colors because a reference won't always be available. Let us see these cartoon colors so we'll know where you're coming from. Straight copying like this will the worst thing you can do.
