Blue girl in space

on: February 14, 2006, 02:16:23 am
Hello, I'm new.

So I decided to do some pixeling again after being rather busy the last couple of weeks/months. I started out with the logo for our demogroup, decided to add a lady, rearranged stuff a bit and threw in some cheesy stars in the background for good measure. The elements don't really belong together, but I just put them in one pic so I don't have to post two different images here. C&C welcome of course.

Logo is cool. I have not much knowledge of demoscene stuff, so I guess nice job?
Girl: Boobs are unnatural. I can't say exactly how, though I'm sure somebody else could tell you exactly. Also, her left nipple is a bit high... like a pixel or two.

I think the breasts are just fine. And I love the sign.

You should really put a nudity warning in the header.
And I am finally seeing that you were the one worth eating.

Welcome back, RR. The boobs are fine; it's a natural woman after all :p there are just things that look off when you go with the head profile 3/4 torso pose.

The real winner in this piece though is the logo. It's very scene for one, and all the formal pixel elements like dithering, shading, AA are all pushed very well.

I know you were just doodling around here, but I've seen some better pixels out of you man :p  The palette on the figure and stars disagrees with me a little, probably because it's monochromatic and yet you're using it to give the impression of light, so really that's just me nitpicking.  Not a whole lot of contrast in either and the dithering on the body kills the flesh texture.  The opacity of the star trails makes it look less like motion and more like this girl's watching the miracle of conception.
