AA what with what colors? This palette does not offer many inbetween colors :p

One trick is to avoid gradients, stick to stylized flats. Then you have more colors over for AA, perhaps.

It's tricky though, since this palette has no skin tone, I it had to go in favor of bringing in another color. The palette isn't really suitable for larger motifs. Now you have to use light and shadow to give the appearance of an in-between color (the eye will calculate the local color of the subject by estimating the lighting situation).

I think I do understand the gradient trick, but it is not getting much better from it..



Id love to understand the second too.
But I do not ;)
Can you show me an example or so?

And this palette is indeed not made for this Arne ;)

I also tried to use a more neutral bg to make your face stand out more and also added a border.

The right side of the mouth ( our right ) still bulges out too much. Its like "real" bagel lips, and no-one wants those.
I do like this edit though, a few more tweaks, and a few more, keep workin it Lollige!
