FeLo's Horror Circus

on: December 07, 2008, 02:42:40 pm
Hi there. Well, my first post & topic here. Excuse my poor English, I'm Spaniard .

I've arrived here from other people's talk in a MsN...

So well. These are the only sprites I have in here. C&C are welcome:
- Heihachi From tekken. It's Lee's ending where he appears in this way. Don't get me wrong, haha:

- Kunimtsu. From Tekken too. From scratch, and the steps I used:

- Chun Li conversion from SFZ to CvS style:

Byee!!!

EDIT: All has been done only in MSPaint.

There's a lot of stray single pixels on each of them that detract from the sprites. They don't really contribute to anything so you might as well remove them. Also i don't get why you break a 2x1 outline like that. It makes the resolution seem lower especially on Kunimitsu's feet.

Maybe it's meant to be aliasing, not an outline... looks like an outline on a pale bg, but maybe he worked on them against a dark bg or intends to use them with one.

this is what we've come to term selective-outlining or 'sel-out' and is generally not a good practice unless it's intended to be used on darker in-game backgrounds.
