 ??? clowns? OH MY!

just something i did in my spare time. Just thought id upload it, maybe something nice could come out of this pile of pixels. C & C are well appriciated.

I'm definantly gonna have to wait for this to progress a bit more, everything seems fine for now...

Atm there is no attention paid to the pixel level. It's just a sketch, a rough one. I would suggest scaling the whole thing down, clean up the volumes and then work on the pixel level to clean it up.
There are no ugly colours, only ugly combinations of colours.

I took the chance to try and study volume with your clown and try help you as well as myself with this.
So here's a guy based on yours. I used just a few grayscale values so it should translate well into pixels.
Oh and yes, definitely work smaller if you want to use any kind of pixel technique on this.

I understand that, but when you want to apply pixel details, which is what this site is all about, that would take forever.
It's smarter to start out on something smaller.
Even what you have now is rather big.

UPDATE :

shrunk it down, added some lighting coming from the bottom, but it looks wonky. any crits?
