The body bounces right now, but it has no influence from that bounce. Muscles aren't THAT static, in fact, nothing is. The tail should wave with a little delay (followthrough), the neck should swing down at impact on the ground (at the depression of the movement curve of the torso) and look back up at the peak of the lifting of the torso. The beak would go along with this as it is attached to the head, making the movement more excessively visible. The further you go in this, the more cartoony your character gets, but by the looks of the current body movement, cartoony just might be what you want for this character.
