Only got around 1/4 of the gifts so far...

Sorry, didn't really have much time to make a banner before the activity 
...But next year I'll try to overhaul some stuff for the activity, perhaps new wrappers, a banner etc etc.

You can always ask the community to make a banner, I'm sure plenty would want to help out

Dokozai: Traditionally you're given a month or so to complete a WIP, and if you actually finish it in that time then yeah, you can participate.

But do try your best to get it done, if you lack inspiration just work on something and it'll come to you.

So far I got less than half of the gifts, so hurry up or else 

Since some of the mods thought the banning was too harsh, this year we are going with strikes just to see how it works, but don't think you'll be safe without making a gift.
If you don't deliver anything by 23rd, you'll automatically get a strike.
Then you'll have a week (meaning your new due date is December 30th) to work on it. If you still don't send anything finished, you'll get your second one.
And then again, you will get another week (Until January 6th), and if you don't deliver anything, you will be BANNED.

As for people with WIPs, PM me your reasons when sending in your gifts, and I'll decide how to act on it. But try to work as much as you can.
(By the way, this is only for people who send WIPs by the 23rd)
 

Oh and if you end up getting a strike, all your "karma cookies" will dissappear aswell.

Don't do this nonsense with extended deadlines! A deadline is a deadline an' we had a month to come up with something. I'm gonna pretend it's due TODAY and not in a week, or I can totally see myself coming home later today and saying "mwaah, I can totally put this of till tomorrow."
