Tasha DeCaen "Keep" Portfolio

on: November 12, 2008, 03:55:43 pm
I'm interested in freelancing in avatar sites (like Solia or Gaia for example). My specialties include hand held items, accessories, and headgear. I'm available for either full-time or part-time work.

I use Gimp and work in png format.

Edit: Thanks to some input, I've separated the images.

Past work: Lenitlia (Pre-Monagona).
Current work: Part-time pixelist for Suntosa.

Thank you for your consideration. :)

They all look flat due to not having any lighting model at all or *barely* any shadows, but they ideas are cute.  :y:

I find your work to be quite saturated.
Way too bright of colors as well as very little use in pallet limiting.

I have a feeling you didn't hand pixel those wings.

None of this is hand pixelled and not considered pixel art by our principles. However, a company of modern times will not care about such a matter as color limits. Regardless of exceeding the boundaries of what is considered pixel art, the art itself does not reach professional quality.
