First tries of someone new to pixelart

on: October 23, 2008, 03:46:32 pm
Hi there!
I have recently discovered the art of the pixel and tried to make some myself.

Some guy with a beard. First piece.

A Gamecube, trying something in isometric.

Some hallway.

What do you guys think?

Edit: just tried to make something nicer in isometric.

Me no not much pixel art but me no u do gud job for one try first gud job

 :P

The wood floor is kind of bland, and i don't see a light source from it either (i guess i should be able to tell which way the light is coming from because of the door window, but my middle name is stupid )

Or ignore me and my totally random idea to have a more obvious light source
Nuuuuuuuuuuuuu

Thanks  ;D

I've been thinking about that light source too. In a picture like that however I can't really come up with a decent light source, and there are a lot of reflecting objects.
There are some lamps above the doors (very poorly made), how could the light coming from those illuminate certain objects?
