Recently I've noticed a strange problem on the forums when viewing posts. Sometimes when someone has posted an image all I see is:

... instead of the actual image. I don't know why this is so, I never had this problem before.
I think it started after I installed Forefox 3, puked on it and went back to 2.0.0.17.

Anyone else have this problem?  :'(

I notice that on my school's computers, they are macs with firefox 3 and a slow connection. But I only see it for a short time, while the image loads, then the real image takes it's place. But I haven't experienced it staying that way.

[image] is the alt text. FF3 loads the alt text before the images and uses it instead of the image placeholders. So instead of getting the broken image icon when an image doesn't load properly, you are left with the alt text. I think.
thanks Dogmeat!

Yup, as long as this does not happen with images stored on our server, like smilies and whatnot, or the news box, then it is a problem on your side. Firewall or whatever, or images simply being down for whatever reason.
There are no ugly colours, only ugly combinations of colours.
