Aww it's really cute ^_^
I think you need to start with cleaning up the lines. The I mean it's ok if you want them to have a certain style, but right now they're just drawn in a messy fashion.
Especially the shape of the sunbeams stands out to me.
Then next, I think you need to AA them more, like so: (ok I'm not that good at it either but you get the point)

After you've cleaned it up a bit I think it'll be easier to critique.

Quite nice.

Zenobia is right, it needs a bit of AA.

If you would go without it and keep the "sketchy" look,
you should use attleast the same line thickness on the same object.

....

thx guys, im doing the AA for inside now, but since they will be moving object on the screen
it's difficult to AA the outside.

I really want to achieve a cleaner look, cos you are right, it looks very rough now.
also pls suggest on the pet itself, i wish to have a more unique design.

something like the house you know what the general shade of the background will be and can move part of the way towards it (i suggest a dark, desaturated brown) so that even if you don't know exactly what's there, you know that it will slightly smooth from one direction or the other.

the same can be done, albeit more sparingly, with the sprites.

in general, cuteness and clutter can be dire enemies.  I would spread out even just what you have already over two screens.

A mistake is a mistake.
The same mistake twice is a bad habit.
The same mistake three or more times is a motif.
