Why is the outbox broken, and why does pixeljoint have two forums?

I can never see any sent messages or anything in the outbox in this forum...

Btw, I just realized that this isn't the main forum?

The outbox is not broken, it is just not activated by default. There is an option in your profile where you can set it to save sent messages.

Also this forum has not direct connection with Pixeljoint, they just link to us in their community dropdown list.
