[PAID] Pixel art for co-op dungeon game

on: December 03, 2021, 02:55:47 pm
Company:
Jason / Wharf Games

Title:
Untitled dungeon game - working title of Dungeon Delvers.

Description:
I am working on a top-down co-op dungeon game for 2-4 players and have a working prototype running in Unity. I'm at the stage where I need some pixel art to establish the aesthetic of the game.  I've had a 5 year gap in game development, but previously published some games on the Android store (https://play.google.com/store/apps/developer?id=Wharf+Games). This time i'll be publishing on PC/steam.

Initially, I am looking for a basic dungeon tile set, animated main character & skeleton enemy (both in 8 directions, walking & attacking animations in each direction, death anim for the skeleton), plus some extra items such as wall torches, treasure chest, barrels, boxes.  The main character will be an animal dressed as a warrior with a sword. Tile and character size is 16x16 pixels, but for the characters this is not a strict requirement.  Later there'll be lots more work for enemies, items, UI etc.

Talent/Position requirements:
Vibrant and attractive pixel art style.  I have attached an example I found on google to give you an idea.  This game is intended to be fun and cute, so I'm looking for bold colours, dark edges and lots of character.

Please get in touch and if you have some examples to show me that would be great :)

Your game sounds awesome! I'd love the oportunity to work on the dungeon characters and tilesets for your game, specially in a 16x16 res.

I can animate characters in 8 directions. Here's my portfolio: https://www.odacolmenares.com/ Please scroll down for the 8 direction examples.

I did some Unity games in the past before fully focusing on art, I could also help test out your game.

I just noticed this post is a bit old. I hope you consider adding me to your team, even if you already found a main artist. I can help getting some extra animations done.

Cheers.
