I would say you could make it more round on top, and also, watch out the aliasing ;D
I don't know THAT much about dithering, But i like the effect you have done there, nice job ;)

Depends a lot on whether this is going to stand alone as art or be placed on other backgrounds.
If standalone, I would go for more luminosity, glow in the dark effect. Also more intricate patterning on the underside of the cap and the stalk, now they are just line scratches.

Before you concentrate on fancy dithering and textures: Get the volumes right.
It looks flat.

He means it looks like the entire image is on the same plane, it's flat, nothing bulges forward or recedes back.  There is no depth.
