So, I used to be pretty active around here say .... 06? 08? Art school consumed my life and I kind of fell off the planet for some years. After school, I've just kind of been working as a UI/UX designer full-time freelancing for a year now. Learned to code some years back, so I'm working on my first game/game framework. Art is still a huge focus, so balancing the two will always be a struggle for me.

Still see a lot of familiar faces from those days (Ptoing,Helm,Camus, etc) which is pretty awesome. I've reconnected with a few of you over Twitter. Hopefully I can re-connect with more, old friends.

Anyway, Dan lured me with the new design and I thought "Well shit, why not?". Good to see all of you, again.

I'm Kadines, and i'm from Brazil and i'm 18. My english is very bad, sorry for that. I'm a student and Design is my hobbie. All kind of digital art, since Manipulation until Digital Painting. Nothing amazing, but it is made from heart :). Now i'm aventuring in Pixel Art and have made few things. My problem here is made a Pixel Art from nothing, i can't do anything good without other Pixel Art of the same object or character as example. At least I try to change it. Well, I think I said all. Thanks for read and congratulations for understand me haha.

Hey sup, I'm Mysterymeat, also known by some as Riotmode.
I've been doing pixels for about four years now, and seriously trying to get GOOD at them for about a year and a half.

I'm looking forward to interacting with the community, as I can already see from http://pixelation.org/index.php?topic=18842.0 this is going to be quite an interesting ride.

I draw with a mouse and use Aseprite for my pixelwork.

My hobbies are making really dumb internet jokes and having intense heated arguments over children's cartoon shows.
PSA: use imgur
http://pixelation.org/index.php?topic=19838.0 also go suggest on my quest, cmon

Hey Everyone, I somehow stumbled across this forum, I'm getting more into pixel art for my concept of an iOS app. I'm so in love with the UI Design of this website, I hope I can get more involved. Thanks!

Hi everybody!

I'm Juan Jesus Ligero, aka JJHaggar, I love videogames & pixel art since I have memory ^_^

From time to time I've always been drawing some sprites here and there as a hobby, but it's been lately (a couple of years ago or so) when I gathered all my determination (or went crazy, you decide XD) and then put everything I've got to make games for a living, or die trying! Hopefully not the later option!

I'm still not very good at pixel art (or any kind of art), but I hope to continue practicing and learning from the amazing people here! :D
Be happy! ^^

Hi,

Been on PixelJoint for a while, but looks like this place is better for getting feedback and community.  :y:

Thanks!

Hi everyone! I'm Matej, but if that's a mystery how to pronounce I also go by Retro. I run a tumblr blog called Retronator and a medium publication Retronator Magazine. I like featuring pixel art in image-heavy articles, mostly artist features, but I'm trying to do more community features in the future too. Seem like a good start to get to know Pixelation better is to come and say hi. I only know a few people from here like Cyangmou, Tim Soret and Dan Fessler, so I'm looking forward to meeting the rest.
