Exolon DX - done and dusted

on: December 28, 2005, 09:07:03 pm
Righty, it's done! Okay, it's not really pixelly but it is by me, and I draw pixels. Somehow that makes it on-topic. ;)

What's this? Some kind of follow up message...? A reply?! ;)

Haha, thanks Ken. I am already well into Wizball, as it happens. Although I plan on doing Skool Daze alongside it, only with super-cute graphics so it feels almost like Rainbow Islands meets Skool Daze. (http://www.ysrnry.co.uk/articles/skooldaze.htm)

Even more fun than when I tried the pre-release version. Still almost impossible for me to be good at, though! :)

Perserverence is the key. I can breeze though the first two levels before getting game over now. :)

Doctor! congratulations, it's on topic simply because you're of the few of us who actually pulls trough and consistantly whips out indy games (and I do NOT include myself in that category AT ALL), my salute to you!

is it heavy one system requirements? if it's kind with my ram I'll give it a try  ;D

Excellent!

Wasn't Skool Daze remade as Klass of '99 or something? a very servicable remake, that one was. What will you do differently? Downloading Exolon as we speak !!11

Dammit! Never saw these replies (sorry to get necromantic on the thread, mods!)

Ta' Camus: It'll run happily on a 700Mhz Pentium with a cheap as chips GeForce4 apparently. Hopefully now I've put out another game you'll consider working on summat with me. :)

Helm: Ta', and there is KO99, but it's too slavish for my liking. I'd wanna' do something with more freeform control and context sensitive controls instead of a bajillion keys.
