I'm not going to crit on techniques yet, maybe later, but can I point out you make him look like a girl. You need thinner, more triangular eyes, with more mascara.


That's a pixel I made once. Perhaps it's good for inspiration

Though this thread is not about mine (just showing it for reference), can I point out it was reduced from a screencap and adapted to the FFTA style portraits. Just so people won't obsess over me posting a masterpiece. I posted this on the old pixelation for showing off how size reduction and pixel art can go hand in hand...
