[WIP]Mutiny!

Hey.

i was recently hooked on a Nitrome (www.nitrome.com) game, Mutiny. (If you've never played it, its kind of like Worms.)



After being inspired by the simple, stylistic and appealing pixel art, i thought i'd try to make a base using the same idea and style and then make some other stuff out of it.

First try:


then i realized how much i was over-complicating it, color-wise and completely revamped:

Jump or a walk:

Rotate:


Then i made a pirate:
(Hence my avatar)

I think this could use some tweaking but im not sure where... Help?

Maybe change the skin color of the cyclops for another like blue? I think that the skin of the pirate and the skin of the cyclops are too similar.
The animations are great.

i like it better, but the hair looks off to me. Anyone else think so? suggestions?

I like the hair, maybe with more hair? less hair? I donīt know  :huh:

Mmm... Itīs looks like a vampire. Make some hair and a nose, I know that all the Mutiny characters donīt have a nose, but a wolf without a nose is not a wolf.

The wolf just looks like a wolf head. The body seems like the bottom part of the jaw. Make the difference more clear.

Hmm, I don't get that sense at all.  However the round head + fangs makes it look more like a bat or vampire or something rather than a wolf.  I think you might need a nose!

Gotcha. Nose in progress. While im making that, here are some things i was working on before:
Either a walk-hop thing or a jump:
I think a walk-hop would work better for this, because of ease of programming. Damn it, the speep got all screwed up. it was a lot faster in Graphics Gale.
