Ed the power-flower

Hi everyone.
I saw this very interesting challenge on PJ and started working on it.
I really had no inspiration about shape and colors but I really liked the theme.
Here is my entry

It's seems to be finished but I need some advices about lights, can you tell me how I can imporve it  ???

I really like the form! dark and moody, and the blending highlighting on his (nose?) looks great :)
The only thing a n00b like me can offer is I think the colours seem a little too washed out.

That middle part, is that a deer head with a lightbulb in its forehead ? Or am i just seeing things that are not there ?  :lol:

I like it, I don't know If thats a deer head but i think those are light bulb's 8),
maybe he's shooting for the plant to seem that its able to grow light bulb's to represent its power!  :wah:

And ortodoxx, there is no deer head on the middle : O
The challenge wath to represent electricity in a flower, that's the reason why there are some lightbulbs on it  :crazy:
