very nice :)

think it'd be awesome if you did a few different coloured blocks, not necisserily for this one above but so you can use em to make more complex pixel art.  :y:
I've not got anything interesting to type here..

ok ive been working on it in silence without homework slowing me down, ive added acouple of cracks, unsure if they look natural or like they look placed. but that's the whole reason

You've shaded the cracks the opposite of how they should be. They presently look as though they are protruding from the block. Swap the light and dark shades. Look again at ptoing's edit.

The blocks could really do with some subtle texturing of their surfaces.

Would look more believable if the blocks weren't all perfectly aligned. You could have some sunk a pixel or two deeper, or sitting on a slight tilt.

Maybe some sand drifts blown against the blocks could better seat them in their environment.

The cracks go over the edges of the cubes too smoothly. Have them follow the shape of the block to make them more convincing.

I like surts Idea.
But at the moment I think there's a lack of contrast between the two different blocks.
Also don't you guys think it would look cool if there was a build up of sand where the first block was moved? As though it was in a desert and the sand was being carried by the wind.

I'll see more of this  ::)

you say what?...
i didnt understand a word of that lol, not that your english is bad, its my reading that's bad

I think that TrevoriuS wanted to say that your highlights are misplaced, so that spatiality gets distorted.
Here's an ultra-sloppy edit showing more consistent highlighting:

IMHO that is the biggest problem you have.
