pixel portraits

just portraits of some actors/directors. handheld photo refference were used for them.

listed in order of creation

robert englund made about half a year ago


dario argento, afew months old


terence hill made two days ago


Richard Johnson (drawn on request by a friend) made today


i never want to see another dithered pixel in my life.

 These sure look good. The one thing I really think shoud improve is the skin tones. Try making the shadows more blueish and highlights more yellowish. Avoid making the highlights yellow as opposed to making the highlights appear yellowish.

I  got one Point about the eyes on the last two the eyes looks wrong in some way I really dont know .

well on the last one it has been brought to my of atention that one the eyebrows are to big, il try to deal with that sometime.
on the other one i by purpose made it so his eyes looks in different directions.
