Photoshop/Graphics Gale

on: April 14, 2008, 06:19:59 pm
Hey... I have Graphics Gale as well as an ancient version of Photoshop (6.0).
With GG I am unable to save PNGs with an alpha layer, making the background transparent.
Also, I don't really like the pen-tool here... The one in Photoshop works better for me.

In Photoshop however, I don't know how to find that cool preview-window that GG has.
Like, when you are pixelling on something which is magnified a lot, you can see how it turns
out at 1:1 ratio. The grid is also kind of weird compared to the one in GG.

Does anyone know how to solve any of these problems? Will help me decide which one I'm
going to use!

In GraphicsGale to save a PNG with alpha you need to select the "With alpha channel" option in the "Save As" dialog.

Alpha visualization still sucks though.
