The shading has a good balance of detail and animateability, looks fun to animate and you've got a great sillouethe animation already.

BTW...you have this sort of slow-time floaty style to the animation, and he's waving his arms a bit too much for the speed he runs at . it looks like it fits the type of character you're doing...but I just wanted to say that it's not totally necesary to animate to that level of "smoothness", so if you animate something else you dont have to fix the "flickering" that much, specially if it's an attack.
