Walk animation attempt

I'm not very good at this spriting thing, tried to make a walk loop nonetheless. Any advice?

I think your design looks cool. You should try and have the arms and legs swing back and forth instead of side to side. You can do this by using darker colors, like you did with the legs, to do this. (If you have the characters limbs broken up, it helps a lot)

The legs are pretty close. Inward is fine, just don't have them come out at all and you can do more with the shoes/feet.

The good thing is that you can just animate half, duplicate those frames and flip the duplicate horizontally.

I work with smaller sprites with limited colors but this is a walk cycle for a upcoming project I have done.

I hope this helps

that's great man. i could never make that lmao. it even has a solid style, i think this is the pallette? pallette building? (idk lol)

"shrinking" the leg that's moving behind her and darkening the colors would make it look like her thighs moving. luv u<3
