Yeah.. any help would be nice.. i might be making a game again.. which will be a topdown rpg with the character being viewed from only one side, and different items showing on the character as a paperdoll.. I did it quite fast, and im currently working on fixing the characters a bit.

Anyway i need them to be max 32x32.. and i like the "chibi" realistic style xD. or whatever..

Wow  :) I really love them. The amount of detail you squeezed into such a tiny face is unbelievable!

I really like the update. The elf is a little odd looking for some reason I cant quite put my finger on, mostly in the facial area. Im interested in seeing what this Megalith Online is all about. Who's programming?

Well im kinda working a tiny bit on it.

And i have some friends who know alot more about programming helping out too..
The game uses a freeware VB6 Online RPG engine.. which is mostly good if customized.. which is what we're doing.. Its simple and fun to work with :)..
And ive done past games with the same engine, allthrough i used pre-made graphics on those games.

I have a little forum anyone who's interested can visit and ask questions and stuff..
orpgcreation.com/forums

anyway.. another update, on armors :).

If you have a little common knowledge of programming i would recommend gamemaker honestly.

But to stay on topic, so are these the paperdoll character sprites or the playable character sprites? Seems like you could be looking at an online platformer, but i want to see what the top down sprites look like as well.Once again, im diggin the update, but maybe the metal pieces could shine a bit more. Then again maybe not, personal preference.

Im amazed how much detail you are able to fit into such small sprites.

Hue shifted outlines are kinda interesting. Have you done a version with unbroken, single color outlines?

The chin area is a little squarish - like he has a growth on the right side of his neck. I guess its a muscley neck, but shouldn't we some some neck on
his left hand side too?

In fact, the head itself seems blockish - which is okay. But something you might want to look into is that there seems to be two light sources affecting head, but one light source is not affecting the hand, while the hand has another bright light source from below etc. Also, there seems to be perspective for head and body, but not feet.

First of all, I think you need to use more of your darker shades to add volume. They look pretty flat right now.

Secondly, their shoulders are too high. It looks like their necks are missing, so try to add a bit more distance between the head and shoulders. The arm closest to us is a bit thick, and the legs are a bit far apart. I also think they could use less blocky heads. See if you think that works better. :)

Here is an edit to show how I thought the feet and chin should've been changed.
