First of all, I think you need to use more of your darker shades to add volume. They look pretty flat right now.

Secondly, their shoulders are too high. It looks like their necks are missing, so try to add a bit more distance between the head and shoulders. The arm closest to us is a bit thick, and the legs are a bit far apart. I also think they could use less blocky heads. See if you think that works better. :)

Kinda ruins the style, i need to have a quite wide and large body for details and equippment.
But otherwise its great, i totally see what you mean.

sharprm, great edit.. Allthrough your edit is 1 pixel to big.. thats mainly why the feet look cut out, because its the least important part.. But otherwise i'll see what i can do to improve the body, even though the body isint the most important stuff, since they'll but running around in armors anyway.

Could you make the body or head smaller to accomodate an outline on the feet. I had a shot at it:

(too much like 'miny me')

(too much of a style change I guess)

That makes another problem, it changes the perspective even more into a side-scroller xD.
Allthrough i love that guys face xD.. he's so funny.

Anyway.. i really looked at your previous edit, and i pretty much tried not to copy to much, but it ended up quite alike.. since i found pretty many of your pixels nessisary or else i got like.. wierd arms and stuff.

I also added 2 new races :).

No worries about pixels being in similar positions to my edit. Something maybe you want to look into: is his chest propagated out too much?

I decided to edit your sprite because of all of the focus on details here. When working with sprites this size you just need to hunker down
and pay close attention to the lighting as well as sharp edges; without these, anything like this sprite ends up looking like a wax sculpture
sitting in a desert at the heat of the day.

But you must be careful when applying shades. Just remember that the fewer the better, as far as colors go; the reason for this is that when
you have, say, fifteen colors in a little 32x32 square, it ends up being so smooth and flowing that none of the few details (that you can actually
fit into that amount of space) really show up.

On the other hand, if you try to cram too much detail into your 'lil sprite, it takes on a noisy quality; which is, most definitely,
not what you would want. Because most, if not all, of the volume would pack its bags and go off in search of something that
could make good use of its illusion.

Peace out and happy pixeling!

But here's an update on the sprites.
Been quite busy on the game, just now decided to redo the shading a bit.. is it better?

I love these.

I love Kcilc's(your name is so hard to type, hurr  :'() edit though, it's less geometric, smoother, and altogether much better to look at.

Why do all of yours have sturdy, thick, square jaws? :P
And the back of their heads seem to long or too tall.

But overall, they're pretty nice.
"Baboy" is Filipino for pig.

They're made so paperdoll items can be added easily.
Here are some of the item icons too :)

I could use some help on the Female sprites.. im having a really hard time making them look female.

The hands need to be on the same position, so does the head.
