Since I don't consider myself an artist, I created a little prototype to make art through the power of chaos and evolution. I started a thread on this here:

It's great for small 2 colour symmetrical sprites. And my avatar is also completely created with this tool.

That save-destination character limit is brutal when trying to save in My Documents  .

I didn't realise how long I've been waiting for somebody to invent a machine to do all my drawing for me. 



Getting it to output asymmetrical stuff is kind of painful, but trying to sort out the chaos brought some stuff I probably wouldn't have come up with all by myself:
