The iso looks really good but that black outline around it kind of kills the smoothness of it. Also that random chair and table in the front yard are huge! :P Very excellent for a first time :P its better than anything i can do haha im just here to learn aswell.

Its very nice for a first piece :)
The roof could maybe take some extra detailing :0

Like this perhaps:

I agree, with more detail it won't look like it was made out of legos. That's what turns me off about most isometric pixel art, people make everything look like it's made out of plastic.

Very nice start.

Personally I like the plastic look, that plus everything being at perfect angles to everything else makes the whole thing look like a toy. But obviously if you don't want that look more details are best - maybe a little more on the grass? Sure if it's a garden it'd be mowed but it just looks like flat green-ness with some clovers or something on it.

i think the colours are too bright... lets try reducing a little saturation -

other than that i love the details, very well done for the FIRST pixel art!

I disagree with that. It only makes it look dull in my eyes. Looks like it's cloudy in your edit, where it looks sunny in his version.
So I think it's just preference.
I do think some more texture would be nice. Work a little more on the grass. I still have an old grass tile lying around:

Maybe doing something like that would work better?
I don't agree about leaving it as 'the plastic look'. I think experimenting with textures would not only make it look better, but also learn you more.

Thank you all for yout comments, I love the roof like you created basara.

Looks to hard to make for me, I juste created the house with a tutorial i have a lot of work before being a good designer...

Do you created the roof by hand ? (I mean pixel by pixel ?) cause it looks realy hard to create like that.
[EDIT]I realy love this roof but "How did you do that ???"[/edit]

thank you all

Treat it more like a painting, and work your way up from the base colors. In other words, render the 3d forms into 2d through the use of your different values.

actually your right its all about the preference, i like darker colours, they look more realistic, but yeah sometimes bright colours can do a better job.
also that is a great grass, and yet so simple. very nice.
