I am not rude, I'm giving critique. It's the opposite of your comment 'it might not be perfect, but it's a nice piece. I like it' which is an one-liner of little use to the artist that comes here to better themselves.

Helm may seem a little blunt, but i would rather have critique which is straight to the point.

of course nice comments are welcome, but i would rather have them when its finished and in the gallery...

ill probably edit within a couple of hours with stuff.

Helm : I can't really get the facial expression with so few pixels.  I've tried and everything i do just looks retarded.  how's this one above?

I made a quick'n'dirty 2min edit on the facial expression. It could definately be taken even further on a pixel level but I hope this gives you even some direction to the expression.

I feel silly, I also did an edit of the face. Haha.


I removed a bit of the hat to show some more face and made it a bit less round/squat.

Also, in newest version, if you mentally make the crouched dude stand up he'd be three heads taller than marcus.

thank you helm.  i see what you mean about the height, however i did try and make him smaller but he looked like a dwarf.  I'll fiddle some more, but i might just have to leave it.  And since when was Gears of War anatomically correct! 



locust sprite (wip) looks really shit... all help appreciated!
