Tileset

on: January 07, 2008, 11:33:46 pm
Tileset, for whatever purpose. I'm not used to pixeling tiles (used to do it without any shame of colours ((and filters)) used). So now I just thought up some limits to learn working with pixels a bit better, and any crits from your side is very welcome.

I dislike the default limits of some systems because they give you a set of colours to work with. What I wished to do is be able to pick the colours I wanted, without any limit. But still I will abide the following rules in this topic:
-30x16px isometric tiles
-only 2 colours per line in a graphic
-only 3 colours per graphic
-only 33 colours in the palette

Contains some long grass, short grass and dirt path plus borders. Will of course make some more very soon.

Please don't bump your topics.

This is pretty good for the limitations you're working with, but your grass colors are a bit too saturated, I think.
