hey I just found out theres a type of stop-motion called pixilation whereas something is captured frame by frame as it's created. Tried searching Pixelation on youtube and those lazy bastards have all spelt it wrong and all im getting is stop motion crap. I bet people come here thinking, hold on this isn't a stop-motion forum, 'Rable Rable Rable!'  >:(
I've not got anything interesting to type here..

Anyone here got a recommendation on a good art book? I'd like to have a good book for anatomy and volumes.
Helm said I'd find one to my liking, but I'm afraid I might buy a bad book since with my knowledge I think I'll fail at judging what books are good and which arent.

http://img140.imageshack.us/img140/7264/manomanuj2.jpg - volumes first, then anatomy.  I wish i had learned this way >.<

downloaded a demo of Black and White 2 today and found it so much fun I actually purchased it used.  God it felt strange buying a game....

the most entertaining thing about it (and actually useful gameplay wise is the ability to pick up many objects of the same kind just by holding the mouse button.  Sure, you can build an army, plant a forest, force a migration in moments, but what i really enjoyed was this experiment:

.......throwing hundreds of enemy dead from the battlefield into their home town.  This had very little effect on the population (aside from a few people stopping to cry) but it was just so delightfully EVIL.

The link seems to link to the same image you posted.

totally offtopic but I suppose this is were it goes, has anyone had trouble registering with PJ forum? This goes to anyone who has recently, I've tried to on and off for a while and Im never sucessful. From my Uni flat it says im on an unsafe network probably considering its a secured internet line, and from anywhere else it tells me to fix my cookies or something similar, on any pc I use. I think they just don't want me there  :ouch: . I mean im on the gallery, are the two not linked? I want to post my progress for the challenges there and be able to critique people without having the disadvantage of not being able to post. It's not a whole great loss or anything, this place is great but it's bugging me not being open to be apart of PJ forum too.

looks like BOB and i have some honor to restore!
A mistake is a mistake.
The same mistake twice is a bad habit.
The same mistake three or more times is a motif.

Nope,  it signs me into the forums just fine. I'm fairly sure we don't hate you enough to not let you post in there as well, heh. To be honest, I've never had that problem. The closest, is it asking me to log in frequently when I keep switching between the gallery and the forum, but successful logins, none the less...

You shouldn't need to register i don't think... have you tried just logging in? I can't remember how it works though so i could be wrong, but it'd be worth trying. I'm just gunna go and make sure you're not banned or anything.

EDIT: Yeah you're already a member on the forum and have made 6 posts. You're not banned eitha.
