newcomer into pixel art

Hi folks,my name is Peter,i'm from Bulgaria(Europa) and i start do pixel art 3 weeks ago, i want to share with you guys my 3rd pixel art,it take me around 6 hours.I do this for fun and i realy enjoy when draw them.C&C are welcome, and i'll appreciate any kind of advices.Thank you!

First off, it looks pretty good... Your drawing skill isn't at all bad.

But there are some pixel-art issues to deal with:

1. A lot of lines are jaggy, I'd suggest checking out Derek Yu's tutorial a better understanding - http://derekyu.com/extras/pixel05.html
2. The AA is'nt done right, again I'll refer you to Derek Yu's tutorial, I think it explains things in an excellent way - http://derekyu.com/extras/pixel10.html
3. Don't work on a big image and then make it smaller, start small to begin with.

Thanks for the help buddy,i'll check out Derek tutorial,i hope to help me to make better sprites,and now i begin with my next sprite and i'll show here my progress.

Hello again, i want to show you one pixel avatar who i made,the art is not mine, it is at one friend of mine called Ivan Koritarev a.k.a Drazen and i have his permission to use his avatar like i want,i post it here because i want to learn how to make good AA,since i read the Derek Y. tutorial i do some practices but i don't like the result, i made something wrong and i can't understand what is it!Please someone to explain me like at dummy what I suppose to do?I will try to join in gameloft studio her ein Bulgaria next year, and I realy want to improve in pixel art and to get that job, it's realy import to me.Thank you in advance!

Step 3 - lineart



Step 4 - begining with simply colors



Step 5 - shading and finish touches - finish but may be not for now.
