Hello to everyone here, once again... Hello to you, Ryona...
I'm watching this thread very closely these last weeks and finally decided to comment...
I must say i'm not a fan of 'chibi' art therefore the idea of seeing baby TMNT annoyed me in the beginning... However the great work you've done so far has made me wanna see this game finished... It would be unfair not to comment on the animation you've done for the characters...
I'm also a fan of desaturated and even dark palettes but i do not know if it looks good on chibi characters... Personally i'd go for a more Zelda-like coloring. Also, i'd like to see more detail in the backgrounds although i must admit i like the walls so far... Again something Zelda-like... The following ( http://www.wayofthepixel.net/pixelation/index.php?topic=6021.0) is a good example of what i'm talking about...
Anyway, don't ever think of leaving this project unfinished... As you can already tell, a lot of people would like to see it come true...
You have my admiration for you're the first girl that treats TMNT as a faithful boy fan would...
Keep posting...

Even if you're going for a dark, natural look, I think your pallet would benefit from some more contrast....

Edit:

The walls in my edit are too saturated I think (not totally sold on the multicolored bricks thing...), but the characters "pop" better and the floor detail is brought out.

Whoops, the shuriken also got kinda jacked, but the color edit was intended for the HUD. :P
