If you look at it zoomed out it seems to be a 5 color piece, and the AA is a bit arbitrary, and so sometimes is emphasizing things like outlines. It might actually help to drop it down to five (bg, shadow, outline, light and dark), getting that solid and then build up the color count where needed. The darker color shading is better, but it makes the reflected light area on his head really stand out. Reflected light areas are still much darker than the light areas, so I'd suggest using a midtone or getting rid of it entirely.
He looks just like he does in the books, keep it up, I'd like to see more.
